The cutoff date for securing rooms at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown at NASAA’s discounted group rate has passed. Rooms may still be available at standard rates.

The closest airport to the Kansas City Marriott Downtown is Kansas City International Airport, which is about 20 minutes (about 17.5 miles) from the hotel.


Courtesy phones for taxi service are located both inside and outside the airport terminal at each bag claim area and at other strategic locations outside the terminal exits. Make sure that you give the dispatcher your exact location.

Taxi fare from the airport will cost approximately $40 plus tip, although rates may vary due to traffic delays and wait time. Taxis may not be available after midnight.

RideKC, Kansas City Regional Transit, operates to and from Kansas City International Airport every day of the week. The regular fare one-way to/from is free at this time, although the trip may take up to one hour.

The Terminal B stop is outside Allegheny ticketing. The Terminal C stop is outside Door C-9. The stop for the Kansas City Marriott Downtown is on 12th between Central and Wyandotte.
